About
Motto: To illustrate and to educate
Daniel began his art journey at age 10, eventually earning a BFA in Media Arts and Animation from the Illinois Institute of Art – Schaumburg near Chicago.
His career has been a blend of creating and teaching, shaped by years of living across Asia—Korea, China, and Japan—where he immersed himself in local cultures and artistic traditions. He taught as a Professor of Computer Graphic Design at Chungkang College of Cultural Industries, provided art instruction in private academic institutions and one-on-one classes, and taught EFL at universities and private schools—often using live, quick whiteboard illustrations to make lessons engaging and memorable.
Founder of Character Issues Art & Academy, Daniel combines his love for art and education by creating original works available on print-on-demand platforms and offering both local and online art classes designed to inspire students to explore their own creative voices.
